Global Poker has introduced PowerStreak, a daily rewards promotion for its Jackpot Sit’n’Go games. The new feature adds another layer of prizes to a format the operator describes as one of its most popular online poker offerings.
According to Pokerfuse, PowerStreak rewards players who complete five consecutive Jackpot Sit’n’Go games without taking a break and still post strong results. The best five-game run for each player is the one that counts, and Global Poker automatically selects the highest-scoring streak at the end of each day.
Players can make as many attempts as they like. PowerStreak scoring assigns points for each game based on the jackpot multiplier rolled, capped at 10x for scoring purposes, and a win doubles the points. Players at the higher buy-ins on the High leaderboard also receive an extra multiplier.
The promotion is split into two leaderboards to keep the competition balanced. The Low board covers SC 0.25 and SC 1 games, while the High board covers SC 5 and SC 10.
The Low leaderboard distributes SC 100 in daily prizes across the top 10 finishers, with the first-place player receiving 40 SC 1 entry tickets. The High leaderboard pays out SC 410 a day across its top 10, with the winner taking 15 SC 10 entries.
Taken together, the top 10 finishers across both boards split more than SC 500 worth of Jackpot Sit’n’Go entry tickets every day. Global Poker says the prizes are funded entirely by the operator, and there are no additional fees to take part.
The rewards come in the form of entry tickets rather than direct cash, but Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for real-money rewards at a rate of 1 SC to $1. That keeps PowerStreak inside the sweepstakes model while giving regular players a separate reason to keep registering consecutive games.
Jackpot Sit’n’Go itself remains unchanged. The games are three-handed, hyper-turbo and winner-takes-all, with the prize pool randomly determined before play begins.
Most Jackpot Sit’n’Go games pay between 2x and 10x the buy-in, while the top jackpot is 200x. Global Poker says the odds of hitting that top prize are roughly three in every 10,000 games, and the rake is 6.1%, which it describes as below typical industry levels.
Card Player reported that Global Poker introduced Jackpot Sit’n’Go tournaments in February 2019, and that since launch players have redeemed more than $20 million in real cash prizes. With PowerStreak, the operator has introduced another layer of rewards to that long-running format.
