Zonko has rolled out a set of World Cup-themed promotions that will run across the tournament, with a prediction contest, a wheel feature, match-day rewards and a reload offer among the main pieces.
According to RG.org, the headline promotion is Predict the Champions, in which players choose the nation they think will win the World Cup. Users can redeem 20,000 Stars to pick from seven countries: the United States, England, Spain, France, Brazil, Argentina and Portugal.
Players who correctly identify the eventual champion will split a 10,000 SC prize pool. Entries for that promotion are accepted through June 28.
A separate World Cup Sweeps Wheel offer is tied to Zonko’s Reload Package. Every qualifying package purchase gives a wheel spin that randomly assigns a participating nation.
Those matched with the eventual World Cup winner will share a 5,000 SC prize pool when the tournament ends. The Reload Package runs from June 11 through July 19.
Each $20 purchase in that package includes 20,000 GC, 20 free SC and one spin on the World Cup Sweeps Wheel. Zonko also planned additional rewards around matches involving the United States and Mexico.
The company also introduced World Cup-themed store items as part of the campaign. The Reload Package remains available through July 19.
