Pickem Sweepstakes Casino is set to run a four-day slots leaderboard tournament that offers 500 Sweeps Coins to its top 100 registered players. Qualifying play is scheduled to begin at 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 9 and end at 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 12.
Players must log in or create an account, select the Pickem Tournaments banner and open its Games tab before playing an eligible slot. No promotional code is required, but each qualifying spin must be at least 0.10 SC.
The Lines, which detailed the promotion, said the competition covers 31 slots and divides its 500 SC pool among 10 prize tiers. Eligible games include Johnny Cash, Snoop Dogg Dollars, Grab The Gold, Royal Express Hold & Win, Break The Piggy Bank Hold & Win and 5 Pyramids of Gold Hold & Win.
Leaderboard placement is determined by SC won, rather than the number of spins or the volume of SC wagered. Each 1 SC won on a spin earns 100 tournament points, so a 50 SC win in one round produces 5,000 points. Spins placed after the Oct. 12 deadline do not count towards a player’s score.
About half of the eligible titles use Hold & Win mechanics, which provide retriggerable opportunities to collect SC and points. The tournament material also identifies a 75 SC sweepstakes casino bonus as usable on eligible slots.
The event uses Sweeps Coins, one of PICKEM’s two virtual currencies. NEXT.io says Gold Coins are used for social-casino entertainment, while Sweeps Coins are used in the sweepstakes casino and can be redeemed for real prizes. Sweeps Coins cannot be bought and are offered as bonuses; players must play through at least 100 SC once and complete identity verification before requesting a redemption.
Pickem’s broader app-based casino catalogue contains more than 500 games, though only the tournament’s 31 designated slots count towards this leaderboard.
