WOW Vegas has launched WOW Picks, a new sports-prediction area for members, and is opening it with Last Fan Standing, a free-to-enter NFL contest carrying a 250,000 Sweeps Coin prize pool. The launch gives members a place to make sports picks against one another, but it is framed as a prediction product rather than a full sportsbook.
Phandroid later added that WOW Picks was running through the season and would let users guess who would come out on top each week. SweepsKings later added that the feature is built around one-off sports prediction competitions, with both daily and weekly contests available, and that launch activity is focused on the NFL.
Last Fan Standing asks players to pick one NFL team each game week throughout the 2026 regular season, with the aim of surviving longer than everyone else. If a player misses the weekly pick before the window closes, that missed entry counts as a losing pick. The contest is described as free to enter, with no purchase or Sweeps Coin play requirement, and WOW Vegas members get one free entry.
The 250,000 SC prize pool will be split equally among the players who are still alive when the competition ends. SweepsKings gave simple examples: if five players remain, each would get 50,000 SC; if 10 survive, each would get 25,000 SC.
The first picks open for the game week beginning 9 September. The competition then runs through the regular season, which the later report said lasts through January. Deadspin described WOW Vegas as a free-to-play social casino with a dual-currency system, and SC can be redeemed for real prizes.
