Nolimit City’s Ding Dong Death is being added at sweepstakes casinos as operators build Halloween-themed slot line-ups before the holiday. SweepsKings listed the title among five new seasonal releases being added to the sector.
The release combines characters from Nolimit City’s earlier games in a black-and-white cartoon setting. Its cast includes the Captain from Das xBoot, an inmate from San Quentin and the girl from Blood & Shadow, while Nolimit City describes the game more broadly as a reunion of figures from Mental, Fire In The Hole, Blood and Shadow, Das xBoot and San Quentin.
At the centre of the 6×3, all-ways-pay game is a five-level Death Meter. Winning combinations trigger avalanches, removing winning symbols and allowing replacements to drop into the grid. Every third avalanche unlocks a meter level, changing all examples of a designated character symbol into Wilds for the rest of the round.
The meter operates in the base game and bonus modes. In the base game it resets between spins, but it continues to build during Ding Dong Spins. Reaching Level 5 in the standard modes sets a global win multiplier at 2x on its first unlock, then adds one point on later unlocks; the official game page says Level 5 instead adds one point during Ding Dong Death Spins.
Level 5 can also produce the Mental Patient Feature, an xSplit Wild or an xNudge Wild. The Mental Patient Feature replaces a selected low-paying symbol with Mental Patient symbols. An xSplit Wild doubles the other non-Scatter symbols in its row, while an xNudge Wild moves to the bottom of its reel, collecting one multiplier point per symbol passed before expanding across the reel.
Three, four or five Scatters award seven, nine or 11 Ding Dong Spins, respectively. Six Scatters award 13 Ding Dong Death Spins, in which each unlocked meter level adds one to the global multiplier; Scatters can add spins in the regular Ding Dong Spins mode.
The game also includes the Knock Knock feature, which can activate when matching symbols line up horizontally without making a win. Those symbols are removed, Mental Patient symbols are created in central positions and a further collapse follows.
Nolimit City lists the game as Extremely Volatile, with a maximum payout of 14,280 times the stake. Its official page gives a 96.08% RTP, 20.02% hit frequency and a one-in-five-million stated probability of the maximum win. SweepsKings, however, reported a 95.83% RTP, a figure also described by World Casino Directory as the standard configuration, indicating that RTP may vary by configuration.
Optional feature purchases include a Bonus Booster costing twice the base bet, which makes free-spin triggers three times more likely, and meter-level boosters priced at 50x, 100x and 200x the base bet for Levels 3, 4 and 5. The official game page also lists a 300x-bet xNudge Wild booster that guarantees an xNudge Wild on reel 3 or 4.
Ding Dong Death entered exclusive early access on Sept. 15 and is scheduled to become available to all Nolimit City partners on Sept. 22.
